Josephine is a lawyer and her focus is on patent protection and commercialisation.

She comes from a background in science research, having completed an honours degree in pharmacology. Josephine then commenced a PhD in pharmacology before leaving research to pursue a career in medical journalism.

Josephine then spent 10 years as the Managing Editor of the peer reviewed medical journal Modern Medicine (now called Medicine Today). While working in medical publishing, she completed a law degree and subsequently worked in the IP group of a leading Australian corporate law firm where she co-ordinated a biotech focus group.

She is a keen photographer and was accepted into the prestigious London Institute.
Josephine has authored many articles, including for international publications, on various aspects of IP law and commercialisation.
